436-Out of Body Experience: Using Non-Reactive method - Tapped wall of bedroom

 



Lying on my left, I did the non-reactive method, let go and went deep and relaxed, just relaxed and go deep and not sure if it seemed like hypnagogia but maybe a little bit. From there I thought finger rub so I tried to rub and it managed to rub. Then I tried to clap hands and after a while the hands appeared in front of me at abdomen level. Then, bring them together and clap and rub and peer. Brought hands to touch my face, chest, body, abdomen and genitals. Touched mattress and side of bed frame. Put my feet on floor and stood up and knocked wall of bedroom using right hand knuckles. Surface rough wall. Walking forward always remembering to  peer left and right at my hands. The dream began to fade. I wanted to re-enter but my palms were not together. Maybe I should always keep my palms together. Touch objects and keep palms together repeatedly. Dream faded. Maybe to reenter dream, before it fades, keep rubbing fingers of either hand at all times, especially as the dream is fading. To note that what is important is not so much hypnagogic visual images but feeling of relaxation.  Once you feel it is deep and relaxed enough, can rub fingers and rub hands. Also used breath to relax and also kept very still for long periods of time. 

Realization:
Realized that it is actually 4 foundations of mindfulness. Mindful of body and then breath then use breath to calm body, then to calm mind, be non-reactive to negative feelings until liminal dreaming or hypnagogic state. Then rub fingers, then rub hands then rub mattress, side of bed frame. Stand up and off you go!
